Bewley's is Ireland's market leader in ground coffee. The firm is also known for its own iconic Grafton Street café, and it owns the Java City coffee company in the US. Bewley's commitment to corporate social responsibility traverses all of its operations. All its coffees and teas are purchased at prices which support the economic viability, livelihoods and social wellbeing of producers. Bewley's was the first company in Ireland to introduce Fairtrade Certified Coffee, and the company mentors coffee firms in developing nations. Among other initiatives, it is the long term backer of Ireland's biggest coffee morning in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation. |
