| Coca-Cola Ireland Aengus King
Coca-Cola Ireland is part of The Coca-Cola Company, the world’s largest beverage company, which was founded over a century ago in the US. Along with Coca-Cola, recognized as one of the world’s most valuable brand, the company markets four of the world’s top five non-alcoholic sparkling beverage brands, including Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite. In Ireland since 1952, the Irish team are responsible for marketing close to 20 brands and continue to develop new and innovative products. The team undertook an innovative campaign entitled Never Give Up, which successfully lifted the performance of the Powerade brand. |

The Javelin Group, an independent Irish communications agency, has been operating successfully for the last 21 years and lists some of Irelands leading brands amongst its clients. Specialising in full service through the line communications solutions, the firm has undergone unprecedented growth in recent years. Javelin is about building brands and to underline the diversity of its offering the company says that it has been at the forefront of below the line communications in Ireland since the time when most people thought BTL was a type of sandwich. Among its recent successful work has been a high profile campaign for the Toyota brand. |

Largo Foods is Ireland’s number one snack food company with around 50% of the market, and over 400 staff. Tayto, King and Hunky Dorys are amongst the company’s strong brand portfolio. 95% of the potatoes used in its products are Irish grown. Largo manufactures potato crisps, savoury and sweet popcorn, and corn snacks, and it has a sizeable export business. Here in Ireland, the firm has a manufacturing plant in Ashbourne, supported by distribution centres in Dublin, Belfast, Cork and Carlow. In 2007, the firm ran a high-profile campaign for the Tayto brand, to coincide with the general election. |
RTÉ Publishing Niamh NicLiam
RTÉ Aertel is the multi-platform information service available on television, online at RTÉ.ie, and on mobile. The service provides comprehensive up to date information on news, sport, business, entertainment, travel, weather, listings, etc. both at home and on the go. The service has 1.76 million analogue users, while RTÉ Aertel online remains the second most popular section of RTÉ.ie with almost 4.5 million page impressions and 200,000 users per month. In June 2007, RTÉ Aertel was launched on mobile at mobile.rteaertel.ie. The Aertel team implemented a highly-effective brand campaign to increase the profile and usage of the service. |

Unilever Ireland is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unilever plc, employing 350 people and generating €346 million in sales. The firm markets a portfolio of leading food and home and personal care brands including Knorr, Lyons Tea, Flora, Hellmanns, Persil, Surf, Domestos, Dove, Lynx and HB ice cream. Unilever acquired HB Ice Cream in 1973, a firm which had been trading since 1926. Last year it successfully implemented a major campaign to establish brand values for Hazelbrook Farm ice cream, promoting the fact that the product is made with real milk, which resulted in a significant performance uplift. |
