Coca-Cola Bottlers Ireland Erica Rosingrave
As Ireland’s leading non-alcoholic beverage company, Coca-Cola Bottlers Ireland recognised the role it could play in the drive to promote responsible driving. The Designated Driver campaign is aimed at contributing to the reduction of road fatalities. The company decided to strengthen the initiative with additional activity in 2008, extending the coverage to all the major holiday periods. A multi-faceted PR campaign was devised to gain stakeholder support, a trade campaign addressed publicans, and a dedicated website was established to engage consumers. The result was a large increase in licensed outlet participation in the scheme and a major uplift in web visitor traffic. |

The AIB Better Ireland Programme is a significant corporate giving initiative which was established in 2001 to support vulnerable children.
