Full Tilt is an online poker brand launched in 2004. In recent years it had lost its way and come under pressure in its markets. With eCommerce at the core of the marketing strategy, the brand responded by widening its appeal to recreational poker players by creating insight-led messaging that excited them and reminded them why they first got interested in poker, reinvigorating their desire to play. The re- launch, led by cinematic TV spots and assisted by Simply Zesty, provided a brand distinctiveness, and by dramatising real poker stories customers saw the game in a new light.

BuyAndSell.ie

Nóirín Ní Laocha

BuyAndSell.ie is transitioning away from a dated image and towards being a modern and effective eCommerce business, in the wake of a buyout from liquidation last year. This has necessitated a new brand image and a new website, supported by a communications campaign. As Ireland's fastest growing online marketplace, the firm offers a platform that brings buyers and sellers together in a secure environment, where they may have a unique and interactive online shopping experience, and its rebrand has allowed it to shed negative perceptions and become re-established as a prominent eCommerce player.
Finalist
Chill Insurance

Fergal Lynch

Chill Insurance identified that in our 'always on' world, there is a need for a multi-platform responsive way for shoppers to gain quick insurance quotes. Chill was the first broker to launch a bespoke solution that now enables customers to get indicative pricing instantly, a revolutionary development in the industry. The result was a surge in web traffic with a high conversion rate, and the IT department reworked its processes to ensure ongoing fast responses to emerging customer requirements and feedback. This forward thinking on eCommerce has helped Chill gain significant market share.
Finalist
DPD Ireland

Maeve Dwyer

By 2020, Irish consumers will spend €13bn online. With this growth comes challenges and opportunities for physical distribution service providers. DPD responded by creating a facility for the parcel recipient to take control of delivery dates and locations, facilitating a better consumer experience. DPD Parcel Wizard focuses on e-consumers, using technology to allow them self-service registration of delivery preferences in advance of any orders coming through the DPD network. The result is a benefit for the consumer, the e-tailer and DPD with a streamlined delivery experience making it simpler, more efficient and hassle-free.
